Meg is the owner and operator of the CBD Continuum. She is the nation’s only CBD retailer who is a board certified holistic practitioner. She holds specialized certificates in holistic nutrition, vaccine education, and cannabis therapy. Her primary focus during her training was in PTSD related ailments including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, insomnia, ADHD/ADD, self-harm, negative belief systems, and more. She graduated from The Energetic Health Institute of California and accepted an internship with the school upon graduation. She has advanced twice within the faculty organization and plays an important roll in the success of future holistic practitioners.
After successfully passing national board exams administered by the Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board™ and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals®, Meg applied to The Holistic Cannabis Academy’s practitioner’s program, which is not open to the general public. Her thorough and extensive training gives her a vast knowledge of the body as a whole. She proficiently understands how to use natural medicaments to stimulate the body’s own innate healing ability.
The CBD Continuum has many physicians who routinely refer their patients to Meg, including affiliates from both Duke and UNC. Her clientele present for relief stemming from conditions like cancer, epileptic seizures, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, hypertension, diabetes, Crohn’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Dyskinesia, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Bells Palsy, Dementia, and more. Meg can work together with a patient’s physician to create a holistic approach to healing by way of education and direction. She carries top-quality products that are only sold by approved and qualified practitioners.
Holistic nutritional education can empower individuals to select nourishing foods and herbs, like CBD and hemp, that have been scientifically proven to be medicinal to the body when used appropriately.
“What we put in our bodies, or not, directly affects the way we perceive the world and more importantly, how our body responds to it.”
Physical, emotional, and psychological childhood abuse resulted in Meg suffering from severe PTSD for most of her life. She has experienced a multitude of symptoms ranging from anxiety to irritability, depression, insomnia, fear-based belief systems, eating disorders, mood-swings, self-destructive behaviors, nightmares, hostility, and other PTSD-related ailments.
She has a complex understanding of how food and supplemental choices (which ones, how they are sourced, and how they are prepared) contribute to the re-occurrence of all disease and illness, both mental and physical. She can guide you towards foods, herbs, and supplements that will nourish the body’s repair system.
Meg is also very knowledgeable in the mechanics of the human mind. She understands how thoughts and perceived belief systems can keep one in a perpetual state of anxiety and unhappiness after experiencing trauma. She can provide useful tools, tips, and techniques that can help you transform, re-condition, and quiet non-serving thoughts to create more positive ones, allowing you to feel more relaxed and enjoy the life you deserve.
These natural healing modalities are both tried and true for Meg. Using these therapies has afforded her the ability to heal naturally and she no longer takes pharmaceutical drugs for conditions like depression, anxiety, paranoia, insomnia, and others. Her medicine now consists of clean water and air, positive thoughts, and wholesome foods, herbs, and supplements.
“Healing comes from within. No one can do it for you. You have to put in the work. The question is, Are You Ready? And if not now, When?”
